Kofax VirtualReScan (VRS)
VRS
is an award winning, patented
technology that automatically insures the best possible
image quality providing enhanced OCR accuracy for
scanned document images. As quickly as pages pass
through the scanner, VRS performs a multi-point inspection
of each document. VRS instantly checks and adjusts for
alignment (skew), brightness, contrast, and image clarity.
Any inconsistencies are immediately corrected by VRS
so that only the straightest, most readable images are
moved into your application.
Certified ISIS Driver
The Strobe XP 200 with VRS includes an ISIS driver certified
by Pixel Translations to ensure that it functions properly
with ISIS-compatible document imaging applications.
There are 250+ commercially available ISIS applications
and virtually all business document imaging
applications will work with the Strobe XP 200 with VRS.
OneTouch and AutoLaunch

PaperPort Deluxe 9 represents a significant enhancement to ScanSoft's
award-winning document and image management software by including
native support for Adobe Portable Document Format. You can still
create PaperPort MAX files, but PDF is now the default file format.
Standard Visioneer Features
OneTouch Technology
Press the scanner's button to open OneTouch preferences where you
set the scan parameters and destination for your document. Choose
from color, grayscale or black and white scan modes, select paper
size, set resolution, and choose any PaperPort Link as the destination
for your image.
AutoLaunch
Patented technology detects when paper is inserted and starts the
scanning process instantly. When used in conjunction with OneTouch,
